I have the option to merge calls but it’s not working. How do I fix this?

@Dungate2014  There’s no winning with you.  Not happy about having a subscription service which you can run whenever you want or purchasing out right,  now you don’t want it because it makes your car heavier and using more fuel. one minute you complain about it and the next minute you’re also complaining about it when proven that your wrong with your first comment about BMW.    As mentioned by someone else which is also your choice don’t buy a BMW.

No I'd be unhappy with both of those,
If bought the car new without heated seats thats what I expect to get
If bought the car second hand heated seats thats what I expect to get
If I have bought it second hand with heated seats in I expect them to work

BMW might be being greedy EE dont even bother to tell you it no longer has seats

You tell me how i can test every feature of the phone, every location I would use it in and the really mick taking one every app in the play store in 14 days let alone at a reasonable cost which is what EE expect you to do

If EE hadn't lied about signal and Wifi calling I wouldn't be with them if they had been honest about standard features missing from their service (every mobile and land line operation offer 3 way calling except EE mobile) I wouldn't be with them and If I hadnt had covid when the contract started I'd  have cancelled within the 14 days.

3 way calling is the straw that broke the camels back I was unhappy before now I have had to spend out over yet another missing or substandard feature and EE's arrogant should have tested everything I am now pi**ed off with them its beyond a mistake and become a deliberate attempt to gouge as much money as possible

Because it is included/should be included/used to be included so free to us but it costs them something so they stopped it to save money / force people up use up data. Hence, greed. 

This is a liberty how can all over network support it but ee!!! I pay monthly for my phone to not get the full package this is a discrimination

Have you looked at using one of the many apps available for group calling?

I think from the many previous times someone at EE has helpfully suggested this in the thread the answer is "no, we want to use a format that everyone with a telephone can use"


For my business I can't start mandating my customers to use a certain IM/call tool. If they're a corporate customer their phone may well be locked down preventing install anyway. Not to mention that also doesn't work for landlines.

As you can see - your suggestion isn't applicable to all situations and this feature is sorely missed by some.

Well said elderly and vulnerable people don't know how to use, never mind install these applications. They can however be passive whilst you using your EE business phone patch then into a conference.... Or that would be the case if EE had not without any justification (I don't mean bull like "fraud" because if we allowed fraud to be a reason to stop services they'd also cut texts, emails and calls from their services) removed the vital service!!!

I don't know how many times people have to pay here but EE realise it's a fundamental service that phones have supported for decades and should not be removed without comprehensive justification, which there isn't.

Will EE ever listen and ever return it? Probably not!

Hi Leanne I appreciation you're trying to be helpful thank you, but for the reasons myself and the other person have said, it would be more helpful if you could feedback to EE we need this service restoring urgently. It prevents vulnerable people and family members getting the support they critically need. In addition to the unnecessary inconvenience caused by preventing the service for business and leisure use!

To demostrate how easy merge/conference calling can be repaced by an app and Ill make this easy and not ask which one HMRC will use I'll ask which one does EE use?
