Haha well said Staun! I'm jealous of all the fraud you'll fall victim to now you're on a network that has the rank audacity to allow you to call two people at the same time and merge them into one call 😮 how have they got away with this? Vodafone must have so much money to be able to run a service like this... I mean the apparent disproportionate extortionate costs of allowing a fundamental service almost all handsets support by default must be near bankrupting Vodafone!

Wow can't believe it's been nearly 2 years since I was on this thread and it's still going! Yep Vodafone still support it and since then I've moved to 3 due to getting 5G phone and them having 5G where I live and they also support it.
Just to throw it out there again as I did before, the fraud thing is a joke.

Such a fraud risk that they still support it on landlines for an extra cost!!! If they were even remotely bothered about fraud they would get so much better at blocking these spam and scam texts and calls they people lose millions of pounds to. I also assume after 2 years EE have found a way to protect their customers from these oh so dangerous 3way calls and don't allow them in the incoming direction? Can't have any entrapment carried out over the network can we? 😂

@mdc1983uk How does any network stop someone from calling or texting you., It’s just a number and no network knows what’s a call or text is about when it’s being made. I can not believe you think that’s even possible.

Nothing re-ignites a fire like an uninformed, naive and misjudged comment from an EE official.
If only they'd bothered to read the thread beforehand they'd understand how much bad feeling and damage to EE's reputation they were about to awaken. 😂

@Chris_B Well Google seem to do a pretty good job of protecting me from spam calls/texts already so it's all good 😉 EE/BT are going to have to give more protection on CLI spoofing by May next year anyway as per the Ofcom ruling so they WILL be blocking some calls from numbers without knowing what the actual call is about! Would have thought that would have been priority seen as millions of people receive nuisance/scam calls and i'm yet to hear of a single case of 3-way calling fraud.
Ironic how something deemed a risk on mobile is still a paid feature on both EE and BT's landlines though. Especially as landline's don't have the features of Android to flag up suspicious numbers.

I need it exactly for a medical call between my doctor and me and my husband who are in different places right now. I can’t believe such a simple thing is not allowed on the most expensive network. I moved over from Three Mobile because I read EE has better coverage but wow, what rubbish service. I’ll be moving back to three as soon as I can. In the meantime, how am I going to have this phone appointment that I’ve been waiting months for? Thanks a lot EE

Hi @Djeju.
Group Calling has not been available on EE since January 31st 2021.
The service had very low usage from customers, and our network supports third party tech an apps which enable group calling.
Are you aware if your doctors has an app they can call customers through?
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Katie

So which app do EE support for 3 or more way calling to EE? or is that just a fob off to cover up EE's awful service ?

So how do I contact EE via whatsapp or any other app?
