I’m currently in Cape Verde on holiday and I need to receive a very important text message and I have no signal(currently using hotel Wi-Fi) how can we rectify this please asap

Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly?
PAYG is auto-enabled for roaming providing you have used your phone in the UK before travelling.
For pay-monthly, you need to enable "international roaming" & "call abroad & premium rate" within your myEE online account, this allows your phone to connect to foreign networks.
