Hi all,
I have been on hold for the customer service line for over 30 minutes, so seeing if posting here will get me an answer more quickly, lol.
I am currently traveling abroad in the USA from the UK, and added the international data roaming add-on before I left. My account confirms that I am enrolled in this add-on, but now that I am in the USA, I continue to have a "No Service" status on my data and it is not connecting to any service. My data roaming is turned on in my phone too, and I've double checked to ensure everything on my phone is turned on to automatically detect providers here, etc. and to make sure international roaming capabilities are on.
Any experience with this issue and insight into what might be happening here?

Having a billing add-on doesn't actually enable international roaming on your phone, which enables the device to connect to foreign networks. Equally, data roaming is just a phone function that enables it to use data over any mobile network.
To check whether roaming is enabled, you can login to your myEE online account or app, and navigate to the parental & data controls section. Check the following two are enabled.. "International roaming" & "Call abroad & Premium rate".
If, for whatever reason, you're not able to activate these, you will need to contact EE C/S via either another working phone, a webchat session or a web-calling app. There isn't any individual account access on this forum.

If you can't enable the Roaming Abroad and the Call Abroad & Premium Rate settings of your online MyEE, you will need to call CS. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. via Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
