I have a new Apple Watch SE24 from EE, and they've sold me a paired plan at £9 per month (or thereabouts).
It does not have cellular capability, so cannot be used without my iPhone being with it. As such, what is the purpose the the plan?
It's the third Apple Watch I've had, but the others were purchased from John Lewis and I just used them without signing up to any plan. I agreed to buy this watch at the time as I set up broadband and also bought a new iPhone, and I think I was bamboozled by all the different figures being thrown at me.
Do I actually need the plan or was it mis-sold?
Thanks

Hi @Miike47
Thanks for coming to our community.
The paired plan allows you to set up a data connection on the watch so that you can use out of proximity of your phone.
If the watch doesn't have cellular capability, then the paired plan wouldn't be able to be linked to the watch and not needed.
I'd recommend speaking to the our customer care team to discuss your cancellation options.
