DO MINUTES REALLY MEAN MINUTES?

jinty21

Im new to EE and gotta say it's confusing as .... My phone tells me I have made 108.30 mins of calls, I paid for 500 minutes but I have zero credit.  I have a hunch that somewhere in the small print it'll explain minutes are not actually 60 seconds in this instance. So okay Ill buy a top up, it's been a busy month - can I do that?  No that's not working apparently.   I have a package, so I ask about boosts (might be code for top up and it says you need a package.  Literally txt just below txt saying welcome to your package. Is it a different package - who knows.   Before I go running, screaming back to Tesco can anyone point me in the direction of help, please.   Im prepared to accept I'm not sure what Im doing but really the site does not help one little bit.  Help!!!

Hello @jinty21 ,

Welcome to the community,

Have you text balance to 150?

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

T, hank you for answering  I'm quietly sobbing now - I texted balance as above and guess what? I have 346 minutes just about what I would have expected to have ... BUT when I log in online I have 0 credit and can't make calls - Ive got  "sorry the system is busy"  for past 24 hours.  Any ideas?

@jinty21  If your using packs that last 30 days and you have pack running at present and you’ve not top up your account since that pack purchase then you have no credit as credit is used to purchase the pack so it will show as zero credit.

What you should be seeing is an allowance of minutes a number of remaining texts if it’s not unlimited and an amount of data part used and still remaining to be used.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi

i set up a recurring 30 day payment plan.  i texted balance on 150 and as I said, EE responded with "you have 346 minutes remaining" I am reading that as I have 346 minutes still to use before my next payment.  But I can't make calls.  Any ideas why? Is it possible to speak to a person at EE to explain it?

Really appreciate you taking the time to respond

@jinty21 , if you want to speak to customer service, just dial 150 from your phone, or here is another number you can ring and even use Skype to do so if you prefer:
