Cant send text messages anymore - getting 'not delivered' with a !

Does anyone know why this might be? I've been able to text as normal this morning then all of a sudden I'm getting the error message when I try to send. Nothing wrong with coverage either.

Hi All,

We've looked into why some customers are unable to send texts to certain providers and can confirm this is not an issue with the EE network. This appears to an issue with the mobile provider receiving the text.

Out of interest, is the recipient of this message an O2 user? Including Tesco Mobile, Sky Mobile or Virgin Mobile which use O2.

Can you send messages to users not on O2?

O2 do have an issue with receiving texts at present, including their virtuals such as Tesco, Sky & Virgin Mobile.

I've no issues since I got this Samsung galaxy 22, everything was fine this morning. I had a nap and woke up and now I'm getting all these error reports.

Hi @Nikki64,

This issue is at the receivers end, rather than yours. There are no issues sending texts over the EE network at the moment.

Yes recipient is on O2

Not true as any text going to anothet ee number doesn't deliver either. Been having this problem for over a year depsite being charged for said texts. Ee recommended I get a new phonedepote.me having one or a new network provider so have gone to giff gaff.
