Can’t make calls or send texts even to EE from spain

I’m in Spain, I am on a monthly contract with free roaming and calls and texts but it won’t let me make any. Even if I call EE on any of the help numbers or even texting 150 it says “this option is not available, please contact our customer contact services” then hangs up. This is the same for any number I try to call- I do have data though so can access the internet.

Hi @Cblain,

Did you activate roaming by texting ROAMING to 150 before leaving the UK?

If you did not do this then your calls, texts and data will not work abroad and you will need to get in touch with the mobile care team online or by calling +447953 966 150 from any phone (charges may apply) so that they can activate it for you.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
