Hi, I've tried finding my answer in other chats, but I've had no luck.
I am in Indonesia and I can't make or receive any calls. My global roaming activated since before, no set spend cap, network selection is automatic... I have purchased a local esim for data access. But that shouldn't influence my ability to make or take calls from the uk or abroad? I've even checked the settings and make sure only the data is used from the e-sim and my uk number is still set as the primary number and account.
I need to be reachable for my work. Please could somebody help me?

Hi @idlapf
It does sound like roaming is not activated on your account. If you can chat via the EE app then this will need to be checked.

Hi, I am on a monthly contract.
I use the SIM card in the UK 2 weeks ago, and then I was in Europe where everything was working as well and I was roaming.
If I change network then the data from the esim won't work, but I did try that as soon as I landed. I already had the roaming checked in the chat and it was activated.
The problem is I can't call EE either to see what is happening.

@idlapf , you may want to switch 5G off and use just 4G, which you should find under mobile services, mobile data roaming, also make sure that dial assist is switched off, see if that works.

Any other SIM you're using, is immaterial. What exactly is your basis for saying "my global roaming activated since before"?
Does your phone show a connection to a local network? That's fundamental to being able to call, text or use data. No network connection = predictable onward consequences.
