Can make calls but not receive them.

I've had this same sim and number for years but suddenly I am unable to receive calls or texts. I can make calls but it tells people calls aren't being connected to this number.

I've tried resetting the network settings with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Are you using a pay as you go or pay monthly plan?

Does this effect all numbers, or just some of your contacts?

hey, thanks for helping out.

It's pay as you go and as far as I know it's all numbers. I've tried calling it from a few and haven't received any calls or texts since this started.

Do you use the SIM regularly or has it been out of use for a while?

I receive texts and calls fairly often but I'm phoning people using whatsapp rather than the sim.

That would have been a looong time ago and could answer it.

Would it reactivate the number if I was to top it up do you know?

You will need to speak to our pay as you go care team to see if this can be reactivated, to do this please call us on 0800 079 8586.

@Wise212 , if it has been longer than six months, then no, if less than six months, you would have to ring customer service, but you could try topping it up. You may want to check here:
