If details (incoming phone number, date and length of calls) are required as part of legal proceedings. I’d it possible to obtain them via my solicitor. We are just interested if certain phone number has called. Thanks

Hi Peter.

If details relating to my incoming calls are required as part of legal proceedings can they be requested via my solicitor and obtained? Many thanks

No, no record of incoming calls or texts are available. Only details of outgoing calls & texts made by you are available when you are paying for Itemised Billing.

@Mike1103  The police can request this information from that other person network provider.   You can’t obtain what is not your information.  Your information is outbound not incoming.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Welcome to the Community, @Mike1103

As has been mentioned above, it's not normally possible to request incoming call data.

I've had a double check though, and in very specific circumstances it may be possible for a solicitor to request these details, but only if they have a direct court order advising this information is required.

Peter

Thanks Peter.

You say “it may be possible” what else would be needed? Is it possible to confirm this for a fact before going through the costly and lengthy process of requesting and obtaining the direct court order?

Thanks again

@Mike1103 From what I can see at my end, it specifically mentions this in the context of criminal proceedings, for example if the details were needed as evidence in a trial.

What I'll do is send you over a private message with a few more details, and fingers crossed you can work with your solicitor to determine the best way forwards from there.

Good afternoon, Mike.

When looking over the details at my end, this is what is advised for 'information you can request about your account':

Any personal information held relating to the customer requesting  their information. However, all information that is requested by a customer is subject to availability. The customer will receive a response detailing what we are able to provide.
Information that CANNOT be provided:

  • Incoming Call Details (unless needed by a solicitor and a Court Order is received)
  • Historical Itemised Billing
  • Content of SMS sent or received (EE & T-Mobile customers)
  • Content of MMS sent or received.
  • Content of voice calls.
  • Content of deleted voicemails.

My recommendation here would be to have your solicitor reach out directly to our customer disclosures team,

That way they can explain the exact nature of the case here, and give some more concrete answers on what would be required to receive incoming call details.

Their details are as follows:

Customer Data Disclosures Team
6 Camberwell Way
Doxford Technology Park
Sunderland
Tyne & Wear
SR3 3XN

Thanks,

Peter
