Barring calls from 0843 numbers

I receive a lot of nuisance calls from 0843 numbers, which I have to bar individually. I am registered with tps service which is useless. I would like to be able to bar all incoming 0843 calls.

Never return a call to an 0843 number as these are always outside of call packagesand will be expensive.

As EE wouldn't listen to us or help so we have left EE and got a much better deal and saving £10.50 per month

Done that already and no one seems to be able to help at EE, other than changing my number for free. But due to medical people from lots of different  departments having my existing number I cant change it. It’s impossible to add all these to my contacts. Can you imagine how many different numbers exist in the NHS!? Im not even sure if another mobile provider can block them across their network. If there is. Let me know!

That’s no good because calls from the dr etc unknown numbers that you want to receive won’t come through.

Hi, cor this post was a long time ago, however NON of the people that are important to me use 0843, so I'm do not have the slightest inclination to allow the number through to my phone. If your doctor uses 0843 (which is highly unlikely) then I'd change them or complain to NHS (unless your a private patient then you must have money to burn) because you are being ripped off with phone costs.Have a nice bill paying day...Sent from my Galaxy

Derk1ExplorerIn response to James_BOptions‎02-12-2021 10:24 AMThis has worked for me for 2 years I've just tried this on my S10, as I too am receiving 0843 calls... I don't know if this will solve the issue, I'll have to wait and see, but it may be worth trying.. press the "phone" icon, then "contacts" then the three dots, at top right. then "settings"this takes you to "call settings" then below is "block numbers"  second list down is "block spam and scam calls"takes you to "caller ID and spam..." turn to "ON"... Lower down on same screen "block spam and scam calls" turn on "block all spam and scam calls" I hope it works cos I'm fed up with this occurring. EE or Samsung should include this type blocking i.e. number groups 0843, 0845 etc. as an urgent matter for customer serviceSent from my Galaxy
