Hello @Smiffy1949.
Welcome to the community.
Are you still currently in the UK?
EE SIMs need to be activated in the UK before travelling abroad.

I haven't purchased the pass yet but have seen conflicting reports on what you have to do prior to leaving UK. I have only been with EE for a couple of weeks having moved over from BT. Thanks x

Just to confirm you are a pay monthly customer and looking to purchase the roaming pass @Smiffy1949?
If yes, you will need to ensure you text ROAMING to 150 to make sure roaming is active.
You can then purchase the pass by text ROAMING PASS to 150.
After this you are good to go.
Katie 🙂
