Hello @Su1982 ,

Welcome to the community,

I take it the person normally lives in the UK, so no you will not be charged for ringing that number, as it is a UK number.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

@Su1982  if you’re calling a Jersey landline you’ll be charged as it’s an international call.   If you’re calling a Jersey mobile number you’ll be charged.  If you’re calling a UK based mobile your allowance will cover you.
Please see THIS

There is also a different add on that’s free that you could have to keep costs down please see THIS

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

0044 is the international dialling code for the UK, so a UK mobile number written as 07970 123456 could also be written as 0044 7970 123456.

Unfortunately, as pointed out already, Channel Islands telecoms networks use the UK numbering system but are classed as roaming (for using phones there) and international (for calling from the UK to there)
