5g isn’t working

I’m on holiday from the uk to berlin and my 5g isn’t working but it was earlier on

Welcome to the community,

As you are not in the UK, but in Germany, 4G will work and should and as 5G is new, I believe that it does not work in other countries when using a UK SIM card. Not sure what you were expecting EE to do, it is not an EE problem. Nothing wrong with 4G working, or do you mean you have no network connection at all?

If that is the case, are you on contract and  did you enable roaming before going abroad?

Are you on a monthly contract or pay as you go? If pay as you go, did you activate and make a chargeable call before going abroad?

5G roaming is in relative early stages of rollout, but as per the reply above - are you reporting a complete lack of coverage, or just that you have, say, 4G or 3G coverage?
