why do incoming calls on my mobile keep going to voicemail

@lesnorman   Have you accidentally blocked her number on your device?   If you’ve done thiis this is what will happen.

thanks for clarification. (i'll remove "how to extend ring time" guide from this thread) and hopefully, @lesnorman will give us feedback about his issue.

as you indicate he may have accidentally blocked his contact's telephone number. from memory, this is very easy to do on later android phones, which have an internal call-blocking feature (i think)?

unfortunately, my pixel 4 (android 13) died on me last week at work, so i cannot verify this "internal call blocking" feature. of course, there are various call-blockers also available on google playstore he (may) also have installed.
