Numbers withheld via 141

Not sure I've put this in the right place, but here goes: if someone withholds their number by dialling 141 before dialling me then the call goes directly to voicemail. My phone doesn't ring, buzz, or even record the incoming call. The trouble is that my daughter's school has the teachers using their personal mobiles to make calls home and they use 141 to hide their numbers. I've turned off the option to block unknown numbers within my phone's 'phone' app, and I don't have any sort of spam blocking apps installed, but, still, numbers hidden by 141 don't get through to me. I tried Motorola (my phone is a moto g54 5g) but they insisted that the only setting is the unknown callers one and that I should take it up with my network but I don't have time to hang around in a queue waiting for customer services to answer lol. Any ideas?

Your symptoms are consistent with a "block unknown callers" or other whitelist being active.

You may need to try a 2way SIM-swap with another working phone, as a means of testing whether the behaviour follows the phone (potential factory reset) or the SIM (and thus network)

Your non-working SIM in a working phone - what result?

A working SIM in your non-working phone - what result?

Definitely was my phone. Followed your advice and the issue didn't follow my SIM. I was hoping to avoid a factory reset but I did it (backed up everything first, obviously) and it seems like it's sorted now. I'll go ahead and mark your reply as the solution; checking via different phones and SIMs is probably the quickest way for someone to figure out what's at fault if they're having the same issue.
