Good Evening

Has anyone else's WiFi Calling suddenly stopped working today ?? (31st)

I've tried all the usual fixes. Restarted everything. Everything up to date. But still won't connect.

Kind of stuck without it as no signal whatsoever without it.

I think everyone is sharing in the irony that none of us have reception so we have to use wifi calling, however, the only real way to contact EE is by phone..  Ah well.  Last time this happened I called after having walked  50-60 metres to obtain access to the EE network and they asked me to reboot my router ( which I had already done several times). My step count was quite high that day.

I always presumed that wifi calling, if not working, would be an issue with the broadband provider (we use Sky) but I am presuming that the issue is an EE issue (my mobile phone provider)?!!??!

Is that correct?

Mines not working either spoke to EE their  working on the issue. Samsung galaxy s24

That would definitely appear to be the case. When things were less clear we tried a number of wifi networks and came to the conclusion, subsequently confirmed by EE, that it is an issue for them to solve.

Hi, I lost my wifi calling at 5pm yesterday (31.7.24). Multiple restarts, router restart, diagnostics check from EE Tech support last night and they have told me today that it's affecting most of the country and no idea when it will be resolved.  Currently unable to make/receive calls as EE have no signal where I live. Time to look into cancelling my contract and going with a provider who can actually provide a service.

Hi MattSp,

Wifi calling is a carrier specific feature which uses the WiFi, so it's enabled/disabled/problematic with the carrier/mobile provider.

Thanks.

It would appear so, judging from the automated message on their phone service.

Hope they fix it soon, sounds like loads of people have little to no phone reception anyway!
