Is this happening in all areas?
If this is one area, if you select the 'check status' option on the EE Coverage & Network Status Checker | Check your signal, does it report any problems?

Does VoLTE show on your phone-screen next to the signal indicators when this audio-drop happens?
You can report lost in-call audio using the "Report a problem" link under the "check status" webtool
