Calls cut out at home or don’t connect

I can’t make or receive calls whilst at home. I can whilst out the home. The phone will just randomly cut out. If I make a call it can take a minute to connect or 4/5 attempts of cancelling n calling again. It’s been going on for months (ever since city fibre was installed in my area, if that’s anything or just coincidence) it’s very frustrating

Hi @heather7417

Is this your home landline that you're having problems with or a mobile phone?

Chris

Hi
It’s my mobile

Could you check the status your postcode on our coverage checker please, @heather7417?

Chris

I did check it. It says 5g is poor coverage but 4g is strong. But I have no clue what I actually have or how to check what I’m connected to etc.

Could you check the status, rather than the coverage please, @heather7417.

It will let you know if we're aware of a problem in the area and give you the option to report one if we're not.

Chris

Checked the status n it said “engineers have recently fixed a problem at the address” guess that’s not physical engineers as no one’s been here. It’s all done online?

Does your phone show VoLTE/4G-calling when this happens?

And are you only having these issues in one location, or multiple?

Iv never seen that show up on my phone before. The phone just cuts out/call failed/calling with no noise.
It’s in multiple locations round the house. I can be sat in one spot phone on the table not touched it n it will randomly cut out

Thanks for checking, @heather7417.

If you would like to discuss it in more detail, I'd recommend speaking to our technical support team, preferably from another working phone.
