For the past year the 4G coverage in Hanham/Longwell Green coverage has been terrible, pretty much unsuable. Both indoor or outdoors the signal says full but there is no data coverage. Cannot do a simple Google search.
I have found this problem across multiple devices across multiple people. I have repeatedly reported the the problem with EE only to be told there is no problem in the area.
Had anyone else managed to get to EE to actually properly investigate this as there is clearly a problem with the nearby mast. As soon as you leave the area the 4G signal is fine.

I happen to know Longwell Green reasonably well, and whilst the symptoms you describe are of data congestion rather than poor coverage, there's nowhere that I can think of in the area where this has been anything other than a temporary issue.
You've done the right things so far, but out of interest is there anywhere specific within Hanham/Longwell Green that you're having poor data speeds? And just to clarify, and to rule out poor coverage, are you able to make & receive calls OK?

Barrs Court is particularly bad. The retail park nearby is also really bad no matter what time of the day.
This is a residential area not a one of music festival where you would reasonably expect data congestion from a one off congestion of people. Saying it's just data congestion really isn't good enough. I pay for a service and if that service isn't adequate then the company providing that service should do something about it.

Which section of the retail park are you finding problematic? I'd divide the park into 3 sections - the Asda side, the section with Next/M&S, and down towards B&Q
I've not been in that specific area for a couple of months but pass by quite frequently - I can easily do some quick tests next time I pass.
