I think the signal has got worse - I'm in Lincolnshire and it has noticeably got more unreliable in this area in the last few months. Incidentally, I was also in Gloucestershire recently and noticed the same. I've also seen that the wifi network is also more unreliable. And so, having spent 20 minutes trying to get through to the customer service team (who used to be very responsive) I'm on the point of cancelling my contract - if I can ever get through....
