Having the same issue with a different post code. Its been a week now.
Going round in circles trying to get any detail.
EE's big thing is signal and Im at home and in my hood with no signal...
Just want to know if its maintenance, a defect or anything. Right now its broken and all im getting form EE is "we know".
frustrating.

The same advice applies then! If you've not done so already, try toggling flight mode to ensure your phone hasn't "dropped off" available coverage. What do you mean by "all im getting form EE is "we know""?
Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker in the first instance, to check for local service outages. A loss of coverage will remove the ability to make/receive calls, send/receive texts or use mobile data.
If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

I check service and it says "we are aware etc" it red status on my post code.
I ask for a Fault Advisor and I've not had calls back , tried again and I get an error message.
The automated systems have worked brilliantly for routing me to the right people apart from with this network issues. Cant get through to talk to or communicate with anyone.
Because the signal is in and out my phone jumps from WiFi to network all the time.
I just want to know what's going on.

If a fault is recognised, that's encouraging - all open faults are rectified as soon as possible. What further information would you be seeking?

Time to resolve - when a fault takes longer than 48hrs it's a kind of courtesy. This has been over a week!
Is it a malfunction or as the next guy posted, is it a network overload?
If so what are they doing to resolve as it's an urban transmitter with new houses and tower blocks being built all the time this is not going to go away.
We pay a premium for EE and network quality is a key selling point.
Never had any issues until now. Is this a tipping point or has something just broken.

Victims of their own success.

Not sure who's posted about network overload, but it sounds a very blanket & vague statement.
External issues are quite often the cause of delays - be it access restrictions, delays sourcing replacement kit etc. Numerous possibilities exist.
