Re: WhatsApp can’t register

I have the same issue here. Pixel 8 (the regular one). Lately I have so much trouble with EE while at work, and it's quite literally 5 minutes by walk from EE headquarters in Aldgate (London E1). Is everything ok with the signal lately? I have zero trouble while at home in North London, just while at work. And now I got stuck and can't register WhatsApp after factory reset. So frustrating.

Hi there @garrinchae

Thanks for coming to the community.

What happens when you enter your mobile number to register for WhatsApp?

Do we have any problems showing for the area on the Service Status Checker

If nothing is showing you can report the problems you are having and the network team will get this looked into and keep you updated via text or email.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Are you reporting a problem with network coverage at a particular location? Or with problems receiving automated/OTP text messages?

Hi @garrinchae

Sadly its EE infrastructure as I work in Fenchurch street and its the same problem. The EE network doesn't work well becase of the glass buildings and EE are due to install low level infrastructure to combat the issue in 4th quarter 2024 early 2025 so I am told (not directly from EE btw) as our company mobiles don't work

Thanks
