Re: Phone shows strong 4G connection but doesn't have internet connection

Same issue on my iPhone 13 mini. Displays a strong 4G signal to the network but just keeps loading and loading and loading and nothing happens until it times out. It happens so often that I’ve learnt the sequence it follows. If it loads for more than 3 seconds, then it’s the mobile data malfunctioning again. Hit aeroplane mode and reconnects to the network, again strong 4G signal, then most of the time it rectifies the problem and your able to load web pages and use apps, but it very often goes straight back to that dormant 4G connection a few minutes later. Tried everything, no joy. Given up on trying to solve it.

Do you have 5G available? 

If yes, are you able to connect to this to see if it improves?

Is your handset running on the latest software?

Bit late just wanna add on here, I have two places where i have the same problem as @Palocity, one of them being work with 1000+ employees who've taken out contracts with other providers.

I'm on 5g and i have tried using just 4g. Still there same problem. Using a pixel 7a

I have seen instances where this turned out to be a phone fault.

Are you able to change between 3G, 4G and 5G network modes to see if any work better there?

I have tried 4g and 5g but not 3g. It's literally outside in a city. When
it does connect for a few minutes I have between 10 and 110mbps. But it
will randomly stop working until I airplane mode a few times.

Same problem my pixel 4 XL and pixel 7a

Could you check the status of the network in your area, if you enter the postcode into our coverage checker and hit 'check status'?

This will show you if we have any problems reported in the area.

Hi , not a problem. I've already done that multiple times and there's never
a problem. Excellent 5g coverage indoor and outdoors apparently. This has
been going on for as long as I can remember.

Did you select the 'check status' option and report the problems you are having if nothing is showing as reported?

I have just checked it again now and it says there is a problem in the area
