I would be curious to know too. FY3 0 (BLACKPOOL). Three have had 5G here for over 12 months since the new mast went up; still no news from EE. I'll probably jump to Three when my contract is up if EE is still 4G here.

@kurtph1969  5G is in Blackpool the problem is getting it every.   You can not expect 5G to cover everywhere at once just like 4G took awhile, and 3G was the same.   I’ve only just got 5G myself at home and my area got 5G in the 2nd roll out. I’ve watched it get closer and closer at masts are upgraded.  I’ve even watched it move away from my home as masts are tweeted to give the best performance.

EE also had to rip out any Huawei equipment so this had an impact on the rollout.  You can thank the UK government for that.

Every network has different rollout strategies, and for every location where EE "only" has 4G but someone else has 5G, there will be others where EE have 5G before anyone else.

Out of interest, what is it you want to do with your phone that 4G is insufficient and needs 5G?
