I have a OnePlus 11, which is not supported for VoLTE on Vodafone, so I'm looking to move to a network where 4g calling is supported. Will 4g calling work with my phone if I move to EE?

@ecclesian_zero That device is compatible with EE bandwidths. It’s also compatible with vodaphone bandwidths but is that on PAYG or contract on vodaphone ? You’ll get VoLTE on EE with a contract or PAYG.

EE will never guarantee use of VoLTE or VoWiFi with a device they've not supplied.
But Android phones are far more "universal" than they used to be - so it should be fine.

It's contract on Vodafone, but I'm starting to get the messages about 3g being switched off, and along with that I'm being told that as my phone uses the 3g network for calls and texts, these will be switched to 2g and I'll need to upgrade to a 4g compatible phone, "to see your options please visit...". I can't tell if I'm getting that message because they don't sell this phone and therefore don't recognise that it is compatible, or whether they truly don't support it, though it's very much with the spec of it. And to bring this back to EE, just trying to get a degree of certainty. Any help (as so far) much appreciated 👍🏻

@ecclesian_zero - only way to be sure is to buy a EE payg sim from a corner shop/supermarket/off-license, buy a cheap subscription pack or add-on(s) to try with the handset.
