No indoor signal Leeds city centre

So in the last 2 weeks everyone in my office has noticed an issue with EE no longer being available inside our office building in Leeds City centre.

Issue now seems to be occurring further afield in Leeds, and when using the coverage checker it says it should be great, and there seems to be no easily accessible place to raise complaints.

Anyone else seeing this issue?

The status checker serves two purposes;

1: "Check coverage" gives a prediction of service levels in the chosen location - I suspect you've used this option.

2: "Check status" searches for known faults & issues in the area, with further options to get updates and also "report a problem" if nothing is shown. Have you used this option?

I would advise any & every affected user to do the same, volume of reports may add to their validity.

Hi, I’m having the same problem inside buildings. I’m Leeds but I noticed it last week whilst working in Manchester. I thought it was my old phone, so got an iPhone on Sunday. Really disappointed with the service atm. I’ve been using we for year, so I know where the bad spots are, and it’s never been this bad. I’m getting 1.5 Mbs speed from my phone at home. Not good.

The issue is still not fixed.

Hi @vinchackochandy,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Does the network status checker show any issues in the area?

I've been experiencing this issue with my mobile broadband since 10th October. Everyday the connection becomes unstable between 7am and 10pm with speeds 1/10th what they were before. I report every time it goes down, and the check never indicates a problem in my area . I live in a fibre broadband dead zone in the city centre so mobile broadband is the only option I have for reasonable speeds. Not so much since the 10th.

Hi @SH_L.

Have you reported this to our Tech Care team?

Does restarting the device help at all?

I've contacted CS, gone to the local shop, and I restart my router several times a day. Nothing has restored my service to expected levels.

Hi @SH_L,

What were you advised when you spoke with our Technical Support Team? Did they raise a support ticket for you?

James

I was told they saw nothing wrong with my connection, and told me to do a few days of speedtests and call back.

Looking at my data so far, around 0800, speeds are roughly 80 mbps down with up of 10 mbps, and by 1900 speeds are <10 mbps with up of <.5. and upload ping of 3k, when I am able to connect. Sometimes its so bad I can't run the test. The upload speed is causing unstable connection and constant drops.
