Mobile internet dropping out

I think there's something wrong with the closest tower to Yelverton Road, Coventry.

I usually have no issues but starting Tuesday, the Internet keeps dropping out at random.

Has anyone had these issues recently?

Thanks for providing us with the screenshot @Alex1409

Are you able to try from another device?

I have been able to successfully search my area.

Speak soon,

Katie

No, I don't go around having 2-3 devices with me...

I was able to check the coverage from a different link...

There seems to be some sort of problem in the area but clicking on Find out More gets me that error again...

Once again, this started last week on Tuesday December 10, so it's obviously a new issue, not related to my phone or general coverage.

The SIM shows up as 4G but no data connection. I am receiving 2FA texts so that works... Don't know (and don't care) about calls...

It started working now, still get the same error... 6:50 pm.

7:35 pm and it died again...

From what I can tell, it disconnects me after about 20-30 minutes...

Thanks for confirming that @Alex1409

Is it just on an evening this seems to happen? Or throughout the day as well?

Lesley

It started happening on Tuesday December 10 throughout the day. That's my workplace and the only place where this is happening.

If this was a signal issue, i wouldn't have any at all. Instead, I get disconnected after 20-30 minutes, for about an hour. I've got a backup SIM from a different provider that's using a different network and that works perfectly fine.

So far:

It's not a phone issue, otherwise neither SIM would be working and the EE SIM wouldn't have signal at all.

It's not an indoor/outdoor issue, it only happens in that area, both indoor and outdoor.

The signal gets suddenly disconnected after about 20-30 minutes. While it works, it actually works amazing well, as I've gotten used to it, for about 2 years of working here in this area.

There's a few towers in the area, the closest being on top of the Sterling Accounting Services Building. My suspicion is that tower isn't working properly since it has the closest range and would mean that when the phone connects to it, it's only active for 20-30 minutes then i get disconnected from data connection, voice and text remain active as far as i can tell...

Thanks for the information @Alex1409

It does sound like this could be the scenario, occasionally connecting to a mast which causes your data to drop out until you link to a different one in the area.

On the EE Coverage & Network Status Checker page, there is an option to report any issues you are facing to our engineers, who will investigate and get back in touch.

Are you able to fill out a report?  You don't have to be at work when you do this.

The site you've identified carries 2 x B3 carriers & a single B7 carrier. The location in your screenshots is also well served by another site closer to Daimler Green. This also has dual B3 & B7 carriers alongside B1.

If you're able to identify which band you're connected to when you have issues, that may well help.

7:56 pm, down again...
