Mobile Network Issues in Cheshire

Hi everyone, Is there any information when the mobile network will be up and running again in the Crewe/Nantwich area? Its been down for the last 5 days and not had any information on when it might be back up/working.

Obviously we are paying for a service and not getting this with no information. Putting me off upgrading next month.

If you've not done so already, try toggling flight mode to ensure your phone hasn't "dropped off" available coverage. The area you've quoted is quite large, I'd expect a few more posts on this forum if there were a complete outage across that patch.

Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker  in the first instance, to check for local service outages. The "report a problem" link should be used if no issues are reported but EE users continue to have issues.A loss of coverage will remove the ability to make/receive calls, send/receive texts or use mobile data.

If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

This has happened for all of my family and a most of my friends in the Nantwich area. Need some information and resolution on this matter. I can’t use my data anywhere locally at the moment

Hi @bagel12,

Welcome to the EE Community

I am sorry to hear you are having issues in your local area, I understand that can cause a big disruption. Have you checked on the coverage checker to see if there is a known fault in your area Coverage Checker | Check Coverage and Signal in Your Area | EE

If there is a known issue you can sign up to e-mail or text updates for the fault. If there is no known issue you and anyone else effected can submit a problem report via the coverage checker also for our network team to investigate.

This is a known issue. I've called EE a few times about this now but all you get is the standard 'we are sorry'. Its a joke on how long they are taking to repair it. This is day number 8 that i cant get my phone to work at all. Surely they should be now crediting customers bills for a month as they have absolutely no timeline on when this will be resolved and judging on how little information they give when calling they don't really care either. I've been with EE since it was Orange and I've never experienced poor service like this until now. I don't have WIFI so I'm unable to connect to WIFI calling so just get left to their incompetent tech team and clearly incompetent field engineers.
