That may have been the solution for you. For our family and business there has been pathetic to no signal in multiple locations. Level one tech support tinkered. Forty hours on support. Sitting here again unable to work with 3 bars of 5 on a business plan unable to work. It’s staggeringly bad. Wasted my time. Set up my account incorrectly. Virtually no internet despite unlimited plan. And all because an EE agent lied and said I had to transfer from my Bt plan - same network but no issues for years. I am not sure where to go with this. I need hourly compensation for unprecedented business interruption. Mis-sale. Harassment.

There's some contradictory statements here, making me question the symptoms you have. Are you reporting poor indicated coverage in locations? That will cause a knock-on difficulty with calls & mobile data. Or are you reporting poor data speed in good coverage areas? The two issues are very different.
Are you using the same device as you were on BT-Mobile? Whichever is your issue, you'd have to remarkably unfortunate to be having problems in anything other than isolated specific circumstances.
