Getting 'E' signal constantly

For the past 4 weeks my phone (samsung a55) keeps dropping signal constantly. I'll look and the E (2g) is there, I switch to airplane mode and back and 5g is there again. Then I can put down phone for a moment and same has happened. Different locations in/out doors. I've restarted phone but can tell if phone or EE issue. Help

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Pay monthly. Signal checker seems ok

Can you make a call when 2G is shown? Wait 30 seconds or so from the end of the call, does 4G/5G reselect?
