Try using a WiFi-analyser tool such as inSSIDer to see if there's other devices using the same wireless channels as your router.

To be fair, Ethenet will always give a more reliable connection than wireless - given the choice.

Hi @jockwav1,

I'm sorry to hear you're having signal issues.

Does the Network Status Checker report any problems in your area?

James

I have been with this service for a few years now & i bought the router from EE.

We are in a good signal area but the router speed signal goes really low at times.

Not sure if the router is on it`s way out or what but it is getting really annoying now.

Hi @jockwav1

Thanks for coming back to the community.

Does the Network Status Checker report any problems in your area?

If you enter the postcode and select 'check status' this will show any reported problems.

Leanne.

I don`t see any coverage problems here, the download speeds drop a lot.

I bought this 4Gee router from EE when i signed up a few years ago.

Could the router be not functioning properly now,i don`t know.

No i don`t see any problems in my area, could it be the router has developed a fault.

No known problems in ML2 0JE

Network should be fine here. If you're having problems, flag it up and we'll investigate. Problems reported in the last hour may not appear straight away.

Or try these quick fixes

Hi @jockwav1

Are you able to try the SIM card in another device to see if the problem follows the SIM?

Leanne 🙂
