Why is EE so terrible in Edinburgh and Dundee and all the way.
I was driving from Dundee to Edinburgh. And the network was bad, poor signal and Data. In Edinburgh City center too same old story terrible network.
In Dundee City its been the same. EE gave a credit to help till they resolve. But don't seem like they are resolving any thing. 5G appears but still **bleep**. Is EE gone down??

If your phone is struggling in as wide a geographical area as this, the problem may be with the device itself.
Are you able to compare with another EE user in the same location as where you struggle?
When you say "poor signal and data", are you describing the indicated coverage being poor? Or that "on-screen bars" are as expected but data speeds are poor? How about voice calls?
Are you able to use mobile data whilst on voice calls?

This is not anything to do with phone. As I had sent the phone to Samsung service center and the the device is absolutely fine. Its EE that is horrible. And I don't know what they have done to their network. But they need to fix their issues. After 3G shutdown, 4G and 5G have been horrible.

You have far more confidence in repair centres than experience has taught me. I've known devices to be returned by repair centres, clearly faulty but given an "all-clear" tag.
I stand by the advice in my previous post, further assistance would require a more detailed explanation of your specific issues.

The network is terrible in Dundee and especially in my postcode. And EE has accepted that they have a terrible network. That's why reimbursed for 11 month of rental. Also mentioned that people in ans around the area have complained. And they have plans to add a new tower. Seems all false hope. EE after joining BT have gone down the drain.

The signal is Edinburgh is embarrassingly bad. EE will just say you're lying or imagining it though - because it's *the best service is the UK*.
My contract ends in November. Never again.

It would be interesting if you could be more specific on what you mean by this.
Do you mean the city centre? The greater Edinburgh area? The EH postcode area? Or some other criteria.
It seems a vague statement on the face of it.

Yes the city centre, and I don't really care if you think it's a vague statement. Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and is tiny - I should be able to get signal everywhere.
I've had years of this crap and EE still prefer to tell me I'm lying. That and the constant bill increases, enough is enough. Roll on November.

Hi @Vik46
Have you reported the coverage issues to our tech guides or using the network status checker to get this looked into?
Leanne.

Yes I've reported it many times but like the many on here - I get told there's nothing wrong. Clearly we're all just imagining it.
