We've combined our network status tools to provide you with all the network information you need in one handy place.
You'll now be able to check the coverage in your area as well as getting up to date information about any maintenance we're carrying out to continue improving our network
You don’t need to register for updates if you’re just curious, just simply search a postcode for a quick status check on the area.
If you're experiencing issues but the EE Coverage and Network Status Checker isn't showing a problem in your area, you can report this using the ‘Report A Problem’ button.
Have a look at our My Places Help page for more information.
If you have any questions, let us know by tapping the ‘reply’ button.

Hi @Minshull02
Sorry to hear this - are you able to use EE WiFi calling at home? You can make & receive calls & texts without any phone signal, just with a WiFi connection.
If you want to speak to someone about it, call 150 from your EE phone or 0800 0798586 from any other phone.

WiFi calling isn't designed to replace network coverage but very much to complement it - it will only kick in when you have little or no mobile signal. Mobile networks will always have locations where they don't work for whatever reason, but WiFi calling means that lack of signal isn't a problem.
If you have a phone that supports the facility, the data usage is extremely negligible but will make the difference between your phone working and not.

It's still not the point having to use wi-fi calling when a mobile that was good by has diminished but you status checker says it's fine and so do your tech guys, your tower in my area is within line of site to me around ¼ mile or less away the only time I get a semi decent reception is when it's been hot for at least 4 days as soon as the rain comes my signal drops to 1 bar or less or 2 if outside and still your guys say nothings wrong there!
Rather than spending all this money on rolling out 5G it would of been great if you could of got 3 an 4G working correctly first!!!

@blankcanvas67 The weather can effect cellular signal. Any cellular signal above 2Ghz is effected. As you say when it rains you have a signal drop it doesn’t mean the cell tower is faulty.

So why is it that up to a year ago I could get 4 bar signal inside and out any time of the year in any weather conditions, we had major storms here just over a year ago and because the mast is on top of flats right on the seafront it would of got full force since that happened signal quality dropped, anywhere else I go signal is fine!

Hi @blankcancvas67 and @Minshull02
The WiFi calling option that @bristolian recommended could help you in this situation.
If your service isn't working as it normally would, I'd recommend reporting a problem on the network status checker or discussing it with our Tech Gurus.

Saying use wi-fi calling is still not the point when your paying network charges for one that is giving such bad coverage in just one area what is obviously some fault that is caused by weather changes is rain, if you read back through my posts I've made on this you would see I have said that I have reported this time an time again both on status checker to get the reply no fault can be found and to tech support who also say the same!
All EE are thinking about like most other mobile companies is just invest in 5G so they can get more money out of customers for its use just like all cellular companies did when if went from 2G to 3G an 3G to 4G!

Dear blankcanvas67
Only to say I feel your pain. I can't help you but reading through the posts the people working at EE must have just been dragged off the street, given a crib sheet and told to get on with it. That is while the office manager is side hustling timeshares in Gambia.
Don't know why you haven't gone postal on them yet, I would.
As I say, I feel your pain and you are not alone.

Dear blankcanvas67
One more post and then I will shut up. And this is a serious question.
I have been in data communications since the mid Seventies here in the UK and have seen the rise and fall of many circuit switched and packet switched connection types. I am now unemployed and I am thinking of starting out on my own.
I wonder, how much would you pay to get your problem solved, how much is it worth to you bearing in mind you do shell out about £50 / month to EE for nothing.
I just wonder whether or not I could make a living out of applying my thirty odd years experience along with proper mobile phone provider contacts and provide a better service than what you (and I) have obviously been given.
Just a thought. Let me know if you want. It could be pennies or it cold be pounds.
Thank you.
