5G coverage but only 4G connection

I am hoping one of you wise people can find a solution which has beaten the whole of EEs tech support. I have a S22 Ultra on EE. I live in a 5G area but my phone only ever shows the white 5G symbol  ( there is no 5G data)but it only connects to LTE. I have looked at Net Monster which tells me that I am in a 5G area but it is disconnected.
However if I moved in another part of town I pick up 5G. To further complicate matters I have tried a couple of friends phones (IPhone 13 and Fold 3) in my house and they pick up 5G and have speeds to confirm that. MY S22 gets, around 70 Meg on 4G but both of my friends phones get over 200 meg. We have tried swapping sims and phones and the results are the same.EE tech support have checked and can see Iam only connecting to LTE in my house and when they checked my friends numbers they were connected to 5G. So the problem with my phone seems to be in my post code area only but it affects just my phone.

Can anyone think of anything else to do before I throw the phone out of the window.

Hi, yes please.  As I said I don't want to take EE to the ombudsman.  But as far as EE are concerned the matter is closed.  So I now need as much evidence as I can provide to the ombudsman to show there is a issue somewhere.

Well a bit of a pleasant surprise this morning .I noticed that I was only receiving 4G this morning. On my way to work I drove past my local mast and thre was a huge crain hovering over it. This evening when I arrived home I was on full 5G signal.  The strange thing was when I called EE tech support earlier today they did not even know there was any work going on .Still all sorted now.

So thank you someone.

I am not bothered to go though the same process as you, but this exact same thing happens to me and still does.

In a town near me only my iPhone will connect to NR (n1/n28) and my S21 fully refuses. It still does it after 2 years. My home mast got upgraded about 1 month ago and the same thing happens.

NR Available (NSA): true
NR State ( NSA): NOT_RESTRIECTED
NR Frequency: UNKNOWN
Network slicing config: Unable to get slicing config.

Seems to me its a configuration error on the radios of the mast.
