Hi, We have a very bad signal in the Area DA16 1NW. One of our mobiles, we have had to move from BT to EE, and now the signal is very poor(used to be pretty good when on BT). We have also got a BT Hybrid box, for the backup for the Internet, which I believe uses the EE network as well. I have tried to report the weak signal via the report page via the Service status page, but this is saying that "This service is not working right now" We have 3 other mobiles in the house that are on 02, that we eventually want to move to EE as well as the broadband, so we need this looked into, if we are going to make this move. The coverage says that the area is excellent for 4G coverage, but clearly this is not the case (02 is bad also). I have reported this to O2 and I have not had much luck. so I would like to think EE will be better especially due to the Media advertising. Thanks

There's a few bits in here.
BT & EE use the exact same radio network, coverage should be identical. WiFi-calling provides an excellent mitigation for poor indoor coverage whenever it occurs, and allows full use of your phone without needing any mobile coverage.
When did you move across from BT? I'm driving at how directly you can correlate the BT > EE move, with the coverage issue.

Hi thanks, we moved the mobile to EE about 3 months ago. We do use wifi calling when at home, but doesnt help when we go out of the range of wifi. Down our road the 4g signal is terrible, But we do also need a better signal for our Hybrid as well to work properly, Also according to the site coverage, says this should be excellent in this area, but it isnt. Thanks

It would be interesting, if possible, to compare your coverage in this area with an EE user that doesn't have your account history.
I can't think of any basis for this having any impact on your coverage levels, and neither does your experience tally with any of the multiple coverage maps that I've checked.

So, the hybrid BT device that uses EE, is a different account to my daughters Mobile EE account, so both of these have weak signals, and as mentioned in our household we also have 3 O2 mobile users, which also get weak signal. I have spoken to a couple of other neighbors in our street, and they are poor signal as well. I have reported this to 02, and I even took screenshots of a walk I took, to my nearest town, Bexleyheath which is DA6 of the signal, it did get better once I reached there. But O2 have just fobbed be off, to say they cant find an issue, but clearly a mast issue. So I was hoping as we also have EE, that these could get on the case. Although I did get 2 month payment back as compensation from O2

An interesting case, and it's a pleasant change for a post on this subject to be reasoned!
By sheer fluke, in this area 2 of the serving sites for both O2 & EE are in the same location, albeit with different spectrum deployments and potentially different heights & bearings (all of which can have an impact) - EE have one additional site closeby, but I don't think it covers your patch.
The Ofcom map often provides a reasonable comparison, and there are some variations - albeit outdoors should not be presenting the issues you allude to. Certainly nothing close to what I would call "terrible"
I sometimes find that where the website tool doesn't work, the app one sometimes does. Worth a try before you consider the 150 route for reporting this.
