@ATUTA07 If you want to use an eSIM you’ll need to be a contract customer. Just look and see what you want to pay. Do you want that to be sim only ? Or a full device contract

I do not want to be bound by a contract for a year or two years, I prefer the option of a card because I can resign at any time if I am not satisfied with the range

We have a range of 1-month SIM only plans at Pay Monthly SIM only Deals | EE that you can choose from, so you're not tied into a long contract.
Just click the tag that says "24 months" to change the list to show the 1 month deals.
Once you're happy with the coverage where you need it, you can then upgrade it to 2-year contract for a better deal.

@ATUTA07 , if you have fixed broadband, you can use wifi calling on your phone, which will work the same as cellular, if the coverage is not very good indoors.
