!!   As I said my router is by NOW TV   infact a now tv hub 2 to be precise I believe they are rebadged sky routers.

I have to pay for VPN I use nord Do you know of a free provider then?

This is an EE mobile issue.

Also vpn slows the connection down quite a bit

@rachel1223 , I have EE cyber security and it does not slow down my connection at all. Not sure whether you can get it, just go into the App and look for it, certainly very reasonable, is always on, unless you turn it off via the App which you then download.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

I don't believe EE Cyber Security is a true VPN, it just uses a VPN Profile in order to be able to block sites with Safe Web on an iPhone due to the locked down nature of iOS.

For example on my S24 Ultra, safe web browsing is enabled through EE Cyber Security but does not appear as or use a VPN configuration.

agreed not a vpn like nord

I still don't see why ee are blocking ftp to port 21 I am using no ip ddns to get there but as I said other providers are fine with it including SPUSU that use EE network

NOW BB is a BB ISP powered by Sky, separate from or on top of their TV offerings.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Try changing your Access Point Name settings on your Samsung to use IPv4 for the APN Protocol. Under Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.

Create a new APN Profile, copying the details from the default "internet" and just changing the "APN Protocol" setting to IPv4 instead of IPv4/IPv6.

You can also find a guide on the APN Settings here in case you get stuck: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Data/EE-APN-Settings-Where-to-find-them/td-p/1145404

Yes that's fixed it IPv4 only in a new APN
