Why have I received a spend cap message when I have 9.7gb left of 10gb

Welcome to the community.

What does the message say exactly? It could be related to Spend Cap which is about chargeable activity, not data usage.

Hi, it says

"As you have a Spend Cap we've now barred some chargeable services,
including using your phone abroad. To increase it, you can log into MyEE or
text SPEND CAP to 150. If you're not the account holder, they'll need to
change it in MyEE or call 150 on your behalf"

It sounds like you've done something that has incurred a charge that has triggered the spend cap. What is your spend cap currently set as?

Spend cap set at zero over monthly bill. Thought it might have been call to
Isle of Man which said it was an international call but bill for calls is
£0, so don't know why I received the message.
