Unable to gift data

Took out a 4G wifi contract with the little hub. Was told I'd be able to gift data to it from my unlimited sim plan. Gone on to do it this morning as my allowances have reset but the number for the mobile wifi isn't coming up. If I can't gift data to it it's pointless having it and was completely mis-sold

Did you add the mobile WiFi device to the same EE pay monthly contract? 

Which device do you have?

Yes it's a pay monthly plan and I can see it on the same app login as my unlimited data plan sim which are also pay monthly. It's the 4g wifi box as in the photo

This looks like a 4GEE Home device and plan, the terms of data gifting advise; 'You will be able to gift data from any Pay Monthly handset, tablet or 4GEE WiFi device to any other Pay Monthly handset, tablet or WiFi device that belongs to the same Pay Monthly account. You cannot gift data to any other mobile number, or any other device. 4GEE Home Devices are not eligible to receive or donate data'

I would suggest getting in touch with our mobile guides on 150 if you have been advised this would be possible and discuss the options available.

@Leanne_T :Those T&C's (Ver 1 16/08/17) have been superseded by  Data Gifting T&C's (Ver 2 20/02/23) which states:

You will be able to gift data to or from any eligible Pay Monthly plan to any other eligible Pay
Monthly plan that belongs to the same family account except for No Frills plans, 3G plans,
4GEE WiFi plans and Apple Watches.

@Gridgwick26x : For that reason you can't gift data to it & it does not appear in the drop-down list of giftable devices.
