First and foremost the word UNLIMITED means there's no limit. No one can redefine this. If I bought the unlimited plan, and use a million terabytes every day, it's still fair, because the the plan is UNLIMITED. If EE says " oh 600GB is fair limit, ohh 12 device, oh this or that" doesn't mean anything because that's their limits. I agreed on UNLIMITED. If you limit, then DO NOT ADVERTISE your plans as UNLIMITED.. You have to advertise as 600GB max per month, that's it. Advertising as UNLIMITED, then capping this to 600GB and 12 devices is breach of contract and this clause only makes the whole contract VALIDITY nothing more than used toilet paper. So please don't falsely advertise any of your services or products. Cheers 👍

"The following terms apply to customers who have taken a Pay Monthly handset or SIM plan with an
unlimited data allowance since 28th August 2019.
Your inclusive data allowance is for personal, non-commercial use when in the UK and in the EU.
If you regularly tether 12 or more devices, we will consider this non-personal use and have the right
to move you to a more suitable plan.
We will consider usage above 600GB per month to be non-personal use and have the right to apply
traffic management controls to deprioritise your mobile traffic during busy periods, or to move you
to a business plan."
They will consider this is for business use.?? I can certainly use over 600gb per month and nothing business related. Either way, this is not UNLIMITED. Because their "consideration" is their limit. 600GB is their limit and it's completely up to them to decide if it's for business use or not.. No proof, nothing... Whatever the reason is. It shouldn't be advertised as unlimited.

Tell us about the fairness of this condition please. 🙂
I shall!
You are quoting here from an introductory brief summary of some key points which EE’d like to draw to Your attention. The meaty part of these T&C's will be enumerated later, in particular §6.3 (& §6.2 that it points at) spells out in no uncertain terms what these instances are. What can be fairer than that?

Then you should take it with the ASA. There is a precedent with ISPs advertising BB speeds at the theoretical technical maximum that only a few users could get, that resulted in ISPs having to advertise average speeds & guaranteed min. speeds.

@Raspberryfinn I understand your beef about the 600gb FUP, but I don't understand your point regarding unlimited data usage.

Not that I am going to use as much data, it's just about the rules. " We consider..." Well tough... "I consider too".... Can you see this? Why is it up to their opinion? I may well be looking to move to a property where the only connection is 4G/5G. No phone lines, and I am going to need loads of GBs. If limited I won't consider moving, because they are allowed to update the terms and conditions as they like it. 600GB fair usage can be reduced to 200GB anytime. Can you see the problem? This is why, they need to be exact. And I don't want to worry about some sort of consideration.

But they are being exact, it's Unlimited Data Use, You can use 200gb, 601gb or 1000gb or more, the actual Data use is unrestricted.

Actually I am a gamer I Got PlayStation 5 and a Xbox SERIES X all my Games are Digital download ps4 games and ps5 games and my Xbox library is all digital download. I can use 600GB in 1 day using my EE data only sim in my 5g router HUEWEI ROUTER CPE PRO 2 VIA EE 4G SPEEDS i can use 5TB in a week by downloading all my ps5 and ps4 games . but EE will throttle my downloads due to breaching fup of 600 GB and yes i did sign the contract still i think it is misleading. Yeah that's why i am moving back to Three Uk as yes there 4G speeds are slow compared to EE but at least there network is truly unlimited and not BS FUP of 600GB totally unfit for purpose me as a gamer . ROLL on 5G on three in my postcode so i can get rid of my Overpriced data only sim From EE.
so EE are Misleading customers I was told to take it up with Ombudsman services but they were a waste of space and sided with EE because ombudsman are unfit for purpose a waste of space and corrupt. it is unlimited as a business sense as if you go over 600 Gb it will carry on at a slow speed which stops you downloading your ps5 and xbox series consoles ect.
Get rid of your fup 600GB will bring more customers MARC ALLEA CEO OF EE .

if you want to hit EE where it hurts move to another network
Its the only way EE will change there Anti consumer Bs policy like getting rid of 600GB a month usage if you go over that they will throttle your downloads what a load of rubbish. Stop false Advertising your unlimited data plans EE and Marc Allea by getting rid of your fup of 600Gb and follow three uk and Vodafone's footsteps give customers truly unlimited data plans without slows once you go over 600Gb you will keep the same speed like you get with three uk and Vodafone. But EE wont because they don't care about customers only numbers and profits.
EE are basically Rockstar and EA and Activision only care about sales and greed profit.
EE has gone downhill since they partnership with BT since 2016. That is my opinion of this partnership with BT as i despise that company and Virgin media i hate Cough cough corporate greed and profits .
