Remove unlimited data from my broadband

So my new EE broadband has given me unlimited free data as part of the package. Unfortunately this seems to override parental controls on my children’s mobile phones. How do I remove unlimited data from my children’s phones and go back to gifting them data when they’re out & about & being able to manage their devices on the home WiFi? Please note this data is not available as an add-on or SIM package - it’s part of the house broadband. I’ve called EE & they haven’t given me a solution

@Kaspar12 : The data you get with your Home BB has absolutely nowt to to with data allocation of any mobile phones. You should still be able to control & gift data to your children’s mobile phones.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP
I thought that too. But their mobile phone profile on my EE app shows they have unlimited data

@Kaspar12  All devices on your account get unlimited data when you have EE broadband.    If you want to remove this from their phone lines you’ll need to call customer support.

No parental controls have been overridden.  Parental controls stop under 18s from accessing certain things on the Internet it has nothing to do with the amount of data allowance they been given because of having EE broadband on your account.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you Chris. I called mobile support 3 days ago but after an hour on the messaging app they were unable to remove unlimited . . They said they were going to call or text  me back but I can’t see a reply anywhere.  Should I try to get technical help or broadband help?

After 40 mins call & threatening to leave EE, I was able to get a Protected Plan for the kids SIM - ‘safer SIM’ . I’m back to unlimited calls & text but no data allowance for the teens. I’m glad I got it sorted but annoyed that I had to make a big fuss at EE who claim to be the best provider at helping families.

@Kaspar12  and they are as all the devices got unlimited data for nothing just because you took out EE broadband, they don’t have to do that.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
