Same here, when I was with Plusnet I never had any issues with data usage. As soon as I started using EE data, watching a YouTube video for 15 minutes chews it up.

Hi @J032
Thanks for coming back to the community.
How much data allowance do you have on your plan?
Leanne.

If you text AL to 150 does it show your data has gone @J032?

That’s not the issue, the problem is EE data doesn’t last as long. I would say 5gb of EE data is equivalent to 2gb of Plusnet data.

Hi @J032,
Plusnet used the EE mobile network for your data connection and switching to an EE plan wouldn't change the way your data usage is measured.
The amount of data used when streaming from YouTube will vary depending on the video quality being used.
By default, the app will automatically adjust the streaming quality based on the speed of your connection.
For help with changing your quality settings, please see Change the quality of your video - Android - YouTube Help (google.com).
Hope this helps. 🙂
James
