No Mobile Data - Turned off by Operator

Hi,

Over the last half an hour or so, my phone has given me multiple notifications which all say 'No Mobile Data Service - Temporarily Turned off by your Operator for SIM 1'. I cannot access anything online using my mobile data, nor can I call anybody.

I have checked online and there has been no notification that EE is taking service down for any reason, plus the coverage checker says that all should be fine. I have turned my phone off and on again and the first time it took a minute for the notification to return and the time after that it returned immediately.

How can this be resolved? I need mobile data for work, as well as commuting. I will be unable to work without it.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G and am located in Sheffield.

I hope someone can help!!

Hi @Chan0304,

If selecting the 'check status' option doesn't show any issues, please select the 'report a problem' option so our team can investigate.

Thanks

James

I'm having the same issue, except I don't even get an error message of any kind.  I was just using the mobile network outside, and then came in the house, and *poof*  gone.  Now it just says "no service" in the top left.  Tries restarting the phone, and checking settings.  Couldn't find anything wrong on my end.  Went to ee site, & there was a red message saying "... the problem is on our end".  Just got back into the ee site now.  Still no mobile service.

Hi @sunseeker2023

Thanks for coming here.

Can you try the SIM card in another phone to see if any signal shows?

Is anyone else on EE and having the same issue?

Leanne 🙂

Not sure what happened, but it works now.  We're really disappointed.  We had a business dinner tonight, and we couldn't call anyone prior.

EE completely failed us, and has been gouging us on long distance as well.

We're from Canada, and we said we wanted a plan where it would be cheap to call back to Canada.  Last month I had to pay over £300, because I had to contact our tax agent to sort out our taxes, since this is our first year in the UK.

We are seriously considering switching networks.

I know it's nothing to do with you personally, but I feel like the right people need to hear this message, because we can't be the only ones having these issues.

Thanks!

Hi @sunseeker2023

I'm happy to see you're back up and running, but I'm sorry to see how this has impacted your business dinner.

It may be worth speaking to our Mobile Care team again to look to see if there are any better international calling packages that would suit your needs.  They will be able to open a complaint on your account too, if that's something that you wish to do.
