Network down on LTE 5g router

hey, for months I have been using my 5G router as wifi for my pc at home, so far no problems at all very good speeds and everything but then 3 days ago the router can't seems to connect when I'm using my EE sim card. The sim is working fine on the phone so it's not a problem with the sim and the router is working fine with a different sim so it's not the router either... I really don't understand what changed on the last 3 days. I tried to see if there were any network works going on but apparently no so... I'm puzzled and wifiless at the moment... I've been on a EE shop earlier today and they were saying something about a 100gb cap for sim data but to be honest there was nothing in the contract about that and neither I can find anything about it anywhere on internet so I'm not sure... and plus that doesn't explain why for months it was just working fine and now all of a sudden it stopped... any ideas?

Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your data & credit status as well as its mobile no. at the top. What does it say,  obscuring your mobile no.?

I can't do it through the router as the router doesn't connect at all to internet... it doesn't register on the network at all but anyway I did that with the sim on my phone ( I don't know if that helps) and it only shows my number, and my data allowance which is unlimited...

This isn't the Internet but entirely within EE network.

yeah basically the router can't connect to the mast I guess or something like that, it doesn't register to the network, it only stays on "limited service" or "no service" at all. Yesterday I was trying things and at one point it started to work again if I was changing between 5G/4G/3G to 4G/3G as options but now it doesn't register not even if I try to do that, it's well weird to me... I can't think of a reason why other than maybe they were doing some work on the close by mast but even that wouldn't make much sense because with my phone is still working completely fine ( to clarify yeah I'm inserting my sim between the two to see if something would change, it's the same sim between the two devices )

Have you checked the Network Status there?

yeah as I said, everything it looks fine from EE side, and the same sim it's connecting if I insert it on the phone, it's only the router and sim combination that it stopped working. And as I said it has been working with no issueses before for months...

Maybe the router uses diff radio bands from the mobile.

maybe... but then why has been working fine till 3 days ago and now stopped working completely? ah and I forgot to say, I tried to buy a new one (exact same model) because I thought that maybe the modem was broken or something but no... same issue with a brand new modem as well

Something's up with router's radio bands last 3 days. They why I asked you to Check Status.
