4/5 of my data used in 4 days 100gb allowance

My allowance says i have used 80gb of data in 4 days. 
Would this be an error? 
is there anyway to check when and what i used this data on? 

Previously i have only used around 40-50gb on a heavy use month just before it resets. 

my previous month i used 36gb of data out of 100gb for the whole month. 

is there a way to cap my data use at say 3gb a day so this doesn’t happen again?

@OllyMillMill   There is no way to cap data usage as you have an allowance that you can not go over as that’s your cap.     EE don’t track what you use data on but your device should show you this information.

Most Android & Apple phones have a menu-based facility which tracks your data usage down to individual apps and splits WiFi/mobile-data.

The location does vary, but it's usually under your data connection options.
