Hello,
I live in a rural location so I cannot get fibre. I did some research and found that EE provide 5G network in my areas so I decide to go with it. I used the router that EE supplied for a little while but it was rubbish! It kept dropping out and connectivity was very poor.
I went out and bought a TP Link 5G AX3000 Whole Home Mesh WiFi 6 Gateway router. This seems a lot more stable now and I am getting close to 100mb download speeds however, my upload speeds are never going any higher than 3mb....
Is there anything I can do to help boost the upload speeds as it is really hindering working from home (teams calls mainly).
Thanks

Hi @JamesGarbs05
Welcome to the EE Community
Great to hear you've been able to increase your data speeds.
The actual speeds will be affected by the frequency band you're connecting to, which usually depends on the distance you are from the mast.
The best way to improve this is by increasing the signal strength, which will hopefully allow you to connect to a better frequency.
It looks like the TP Link 5G AX3000 has connections for an external antenna. Do you have one connected as part of your set-up?
