Using 4GEE sim with Huawei E8372H-153 4G USB Wingle

I have two EE SIMs working fine in my Netgear Nighthawk M1. However, when I try to use them in either of my new Huawei E8372H-153 4G USB Wingles, they show connected on the admin page. The blue LED is on, but there is no data up or down, and I cannot ping using the admin tools.

Does anyone know what setting I might need to change to get this working?

Thanks.

It's the Profile that matters.

Try IP Type = IPv4 only by noting that default Profile, creating a new Profile & populating it with the noted values (pwd = 'secure') with the changed IP Type. Then making it the Default.

Under Mobile Network / Mobile Network Searching it’s set to:

Support 4G networks- On

Network search mode - Auto

under Internet Connection, setting are:

Mobile network - On

Data roaming - Off

Auto-Select network - On

under profiles I see EE Internet(default), here are the settings for that profile.

Name - EE Internet

APN - everywhere

User name - eesecure

Password - I see 8 asterisks

Authentication - PAP

IP type - IPv4 & IPv6

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks

It was the iPv4 only that got it working. Thank you 🙂
