Why are there so many problems!?

Regularly get errors about sending SMS says the service is not active. But then it works fine. Very frustrating I cannot communicate with people when I need to?

So I installed this app to get support and it is unable to check it's own network for issues? EE cannot check it's OWN network!?

So I tried to call support and the voice told me the service is not currently available!?

hahaha hahahaha

Even this form is bugging out I cannot select the correct category.

@Jdom84  You can use THIS   And there isn’t an app for this community forum there is a link to this forum via the EE app.   I’ve just called customer service on 150 from my device and it’s working fine.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
Yes the app has a function to call customer service it called this number
+447953966350,15566499223#

Then a voice said the service wasn't available.

Why!?

Why can't I send a dam SMS lol it's the most basic function of a phone and
it keeps saying the service is not available.

It's insane.

My point is I should not have to use that. It was built into the app. To test the service. And the service couldn't test it's own service.

It had a function to call customer support and called this number +447953966350,15566499223#

And said that service is unavailable

Why!?

Why bother having these features.

I just want to send a damn SMS message it's the most basic function of a phone. And it's totally sporadic.

I installed the app to get help and that's what the help was and nothing works it's insane.

What's the point in having an app if it's complete useless and just an advertising platform?

@Jdom84  Just tested the EE app to check the network status and it’s working for me as is the call customer services via the app.   If your device can not connect to the network to check then obviously it will have issues as it’s got a network issue.  But you can do this check when connected to WiFi.   Just like you can use WiFi calling to send a text or make a call.      You don’t say if this is just one location or every location you go too.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I am connected otherwise I would not be testing it... Im on 4g EE

Testing the network in the app doesn't work see attached image.

Calling  the support goes to the very long number I included and doesn't work....

At the end of the day I just want to send an SMS lol
